Hi,

I have noticed that when we do a scan through the VSTwain ActiveX control the IExplore memory usage goes up, this is due that the pages are being stored within the memory usage of IExplore, due that the VSTwain object is being created on the page.
When closing the page(popup) that creates the VSTWain.dll object on the page, should it despose the object and free up the memory?
Right now it does not do that the IExplore.exe memory goes up and when doing 3, 4 or 5 scan attempt it crashed the browser due that the memory has increased to much.
Did anybody encounter this problem?
is there away that I can do a dispose of the object through JavaScript?

regards,

Alexei

Hi Alexey,

We already answered to your question in our support center. We think that you have the memory leak because Internet Explorer cannot correctly work with large Base64 strings.

Best regards, Alexander
