General information about evaluation version of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK

The evaluation version of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK allows you to test the SDK functionality and so check if it suits your requrements.

The evaluation version allows to develop .NET applications for test purposes only.

The evaluation version does NOT allow to use the developed test applications in production or for commercial purposes.

The evaluation version works during 30 days of evaluation period. For activating the evaluation period you should request the evaluation license.

The evaluation version has several minor limitations of use listed below.

It's prohibited to rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, crack, otherwise reverse engineer the evaluation version.

You need to embed the evaluation license into source codes of your web application.

Request C#/VB.NET code to embed the evaluation license into source codes of your ASP.NET application

If you need C#/VB.NET code to embed the evaluation license into source codes of your ASP.NET application, you need to do the following steps:

1. Go to VintaSoft User Portal at https://myaccount.vintasoft.com/user/getEvaluationLicense.
2. Enter your email, choose necessary product. Enter your name if you request the evaluation license first time. Check necessary checkboxes.
3. Click the "Send the evaluation license to my email" button and email message with information about the evaluation license will be sent to your email.

Limitations of evaluation version.

Evaluation version has the following limitations:

• The evaluation version adds watermarks to the image viewers.
• The evaluation version adds watermarks to all printed and saved images.
• The evaluation version does not allow to work with TIFF file, which size is more than 2 Gb.
• The evaluation version does not allow to change some tags in PDF document.
• The evaluation version allows to apply only 40-bit crypto algorithms for securing PDF document.
• The evaluation version adds watermark to rendered PDF, DOCX and XLSX page.
• The evaluation version adds watermark to decoded JBIG2, JPEG2000, DICOM and RAW image.
• The evaluation version makes all existing digital signatures of PDF document invalid if new digital signature is added to the document.
• The evaluation version does not allow to use MMR compression in JBIG2 image.
• The evaluation version does not allow to create JPEG2000 image with several layers or tiles.
• The evaluation version does not allow to delete or move sheet in the spreadsheet (XLSX) document.
• The evaluation version adds new sheet with watermark to the opened spreadsheet (XLSX) document.
• The evaluation version of spreadsheet editor allows to edit only the first sheet in the spreadsheet (XLSX) document.
