Description

Occurs when image acquisition starts.

Syntax

Visual Basic
Public Event DeviceImageAcquiring()

Remarks

Here is a sequence of events if scan is successfully completed:

for each acquired image
- DeviceImageAcquiring event occurs before image is acquiring
- DeviceImageAcquiringProgress events occurs during image acquisition (only if Memory transfer mode is used)
- DeviceImageAcquired event occurs after image is acquired
DeviceScanCompleted event occurs when scan is completed
DeviceUserInterfaceClosed event occurs when UI is closed (only if UI is used)
DeviceScanFinished event occurs when scan is finished

Here is a sequence of events if scan is canceled:

for each acquired image
- DeviceImageAcquiring event occurs before image is acquiring
- DeviceImageAcquiringProgress events occurs during image acquisition (only if Memory transfer mode is used)
- DeviceImageAcquired event occurs after image is acquired
DeviceScanCanceled event occurs when scan is canceled
DeviceScanFinished event occurs when scan is finished

Here is a sequence of events if scan is failed:

for each acquired image
- DeviceImageAcquiring event occurs before image is acquiring
- DeviceImageAcquiringProgress events occurs during image acquisition (only if Memory transfer mode is used)
- DeviceImageAcquired event occurs after image is acquired
DeviceScanFailed event occurs when scan is failed
DeviceScanFinished event occurs when scan is finished
