About Form shown before each scanning

Hi all

I have a strange problem on one customer site. We have many clients on that site, where we use VintaSoftTwain.NET Library v 2.1.5 without any problem out of our VB.NET 1.1 based application. On two computers we have the problem, that the About Box (with the "Register Now" Button from VintaSoftTwain.NET Library v 2.1.5 is shown, when the user tries to initialize a scan.

Our Application including all dll's are residing on a server and we have made an identical ".NET Grant" to that server on each client. Every user starts our application the same way with UNC Path (like \\servername\share\app.exe).

They use Roaming profiles on that site. So we have also tried to use different Windows Logins on these both computers. But this problem happens with every Windows User (also with users, which are working well on other computers). So it must be a Software / OS or a registry permission problem on these two Windows XP SP3 computers.

Have anyone an idea, what could lead to the problem, that the About Box with the "Register Now" button is shown for every scan ?
