Hi there
I am currently evaluating your software and I think it's a great piece of software.
However, I need to save the scanned document as a PDF/A into a sql database. I know how to save a scanned document as a pdf into a database but is there a special option to save the document as PDF/A?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards, Michael Hachen

Re: Save a document as PDF/A
Hello Michael,
VintaSoftTwain.NET Library generates PDF documents compatible with version 1.4 of PDF specification and these documents are compatible with PDF/A standard. Each page of PDF document contains one image.
Best regards, Alexander

Re: Save a document as PDF/A
Hi Alexander
Thank you for your reply. I scanned a document with VintaSoftTwain.NET and saved it as a PDF file. After that I opened it with Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 and checked the PDF/A 1a compliance. Unfortunately there are some errors:
- File header not compliant with PDF/A
- ID in file trailer missing or incomplete
- MarkInfo missing
- PDF contains data after end of file marker
Do you have a fix for the problems? However VintaSoft TWAIN.NET is very good and I will use it even if there are no solutions to the problems.
Thank you for help!
