We are proud to announce the release of new major version 10.1 of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK and the related Annotation, PDF,
JBIG2, JPEG2000, Document Cleanup, OCR, DICOM, Forms Processing and Office Plug-ins.
The first and the most important feature of this version is the ability to edit existing DOCX and XLSX documents.
The SDK allows to open an existing DOCX/XLSX document, find text, delete text, replace text, change text
properties (font, color, size, etc), copy/insert/change/delete an image, copy/insert/change/delete a row in a table,
change a value of table cell, change a color of table cell, change table borders, etc.
Changed document can be saved to a DOCX/XLSX file or exported to any supported file format.
The second important feature of this version is the significant improvement of DOCX and XLSX renderers.
Now the DOCX renderer supports footnotes and endnotes, supports calculated fields, supports deleted content,
can autosize table cells by content. Also DOCX renderer has many other improvements:
improved the support of floating elements; improved the support of VML objects; improved the algorithm that layouts
text paragraphs; improved the algorithm that draws CJK text (Chinese, Japanese, Korean); improved the algorithm that draws tables;
improved the algorithm that layouts header and footer on page; improved the algorithm that draws lists on page;
improved the algorithm that draws graphics on page; many other improvements.
And the third important feature of this release is the full revision of code of VintaSoft JavaScript API.
Now VintaSoft JavaScript API does not depend on jQuery library anymore and it is now fully written in JavaScript ES5.
