We are proud to announce the release of new major version 12.1 of VintaSoft Imaging .NET SDK and related Annotation, PDF,
JBIG2, JPEG2000, Document Cleanup, OCR, DICOM, Forms Processing and Office Plug-ins.
The first most important new feature of this version is the cross-platform support for Windows, Linux and macOS in .NET 7.
The second important new feature of this version is the ability to convert an image with text to a searchable PDF document in text over image mode.
In "text over image" mode is created the PDF document with OCR fonts, which contain symbols of recognized text.
The recognized text is placed above the source image and can be edited in any PDF editor.
Also the outline of recognized text is removed from the source image.
The third important new feature of this version is the ability to verify a PDF document conformance to the specification PDF/A-4, PDF/A-4e, PDF/A-4f.
Also is possible to convert any PDF document into a PDF/A-4, PDF/A-4e, PDF/A-4f document.
The 4th important new feature of this version is the ability to recognize text from image in Linux using Tesseract OCR.
The 5th important new feature of this version is the ability to render XLS document.
Also it is possible to convert an XLS document into XLSX document.
The MS Excel program is not necessary for work with XLS document.
